Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 6 cups crispy rice cereal
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions
 

  • Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan and set aside.
  • Then, heat the corn syrup and sugar over medium heat in a large saucepan. Stir it continuously until the sugar is dissolved.
  • Remove from heat, and stir in the peanut butter until smooth.
  • Fold in the crispy rice cereal until evenly coated.
  • Press the mixture into the prepared baking pan.
  • In a separate bowl, melt the chocolate chips and butterscotch chips together, stirring until smooth.
  • Spread the chocolate-butterscotch mixture over the cereal layer.
  • Allow to cool and set in the refrigerator for 1 hour before cutting into bars.
