Ingredients
1 cup corn syrup
1 cup sugar
1 cup peanut butter
6 cups crispy rice cereal
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup butterscotch chips
A pinch of salt
Instructions
Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan and set aside.
Then, heat the corn syrup and sugar over medium heat in a large saucepan. Stir it continuously until the sugar is dissolved.
Remove from heat, and stir in the peanut butter until smooth.
Fold in the crispy rice cereal until evenly coated.
Press the mixture into the prepared baking pan.
In a separate bowl, melt the chocolate chips and butterscotch chips together, stirring until smooth.
Spread the chocolate-butterscotch mixture over the cereal layer.
Allow to cool and set in the refrigerator for 1 hour before cutting into bars.
