Ingredients
  

  • 8 thick slices of bread
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups cornflakes crushed
  • 1/4 cup butter for frying
  • Maple syrup and fresh berries for serving

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, beat the eggs, then add milk, honey and vanilla extract and mix them.
  • Now place the cornflakes (crushed) in a separate shallow dish.
  • Dip slices of eggs into mixture of eggs and make sure that each side of the bread is fully coated.
  • Then press soaked breads into cornflakes ensuring that both sides are covered.
  • Over medium heat, heat the butter in a large skillet.
  • The last step is to add the coated bread slices and cook it until it turns golden brown, for 3-4 minutes each side.
  • You can serve it with maple syrup and fresh berries.
