Ingredients
8 thick slices of bread
2 large eggs
1 cup milk
1/4 cup honey
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups cornflakes
crushed
1/4 cup butter
for frying
Maple syrup and fresh berries
for serving
Instructions
In a bowl, beat the eggs, then add milk, honey and vanilla extract and mix them.
Now place the cornflakes (crushed) in a separate shallow dish.
Dip slices of eggs into mixture of eggs and make sure that each side of the bread is fully coated.
Then press soaked breads into cornflakes ensuring that both sides are covered.
Over medium heat, heat the butter in a large skillet.
The last step is to add the coated bread slices and cook it until it turns golden brown, for 3-4 minutes each side.
You can serve it with maple syrup and fresh berries.
