1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Grated Parmesan cheese for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Start by preheating your oven to 400°Fahrenheit(200°Centigrade).
Toss Brussels sprouts in a bowl with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
Spread out the Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet in a single layer.
Now roast the Brussels sprouts in the oven for about 20-25 minutes, until they are turned brown and crispy on the outside.
Once done, toss them with lemon zest and lemon juice.
If desired, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the Brussels sprouts before serving.
