Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved                
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Grated Parmesan cheese for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Start by preheating your oven to 400°Fahrenheit(200°Centigrade).
  • Toss Brussels sprouts in a bowl with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  • Spread out the Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  • Now roast the Brussels sprouts in the oven for about 20-25 minutes, until they are turned brown and crispy on the outside.
  • Once done, toss them with lemon zest and lemon juice.
  • If desired, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the Brussels sprouts before serving.
